It's leaning more towards the dark comedy/ sarcastic political commentary, actually a lot like Burn After Reading. It definitely made me laugh, but it wasn't one of those "can't breathe, knee-slapper" types--and I don't think it was supposed to be. There was an underlying sadness to the movie that definitely gave it some weight. But at the same time it wasn't one of those "deep, change your life, and spend hours contemplating its various meanings" type of movie. It's a straightforward, dark comedy that kind of leaves you with a surprisingly cutesy feeling at the end.
