This is what the third X-Men movie should've been and while I still think X2 is the best one I like this one just as much as I like the first movie. While hollywood summer blockbusters are trying to reboot their franchise's with Origin stories and Spin offs like Batman Begins and the upcoming Star Trek Im really pleased they finally did Wolverine and while the movie was a little to fast paced in the first act the second and third picked up with a lot of cool action sequences and what I thought was an interesting plot. The movie did disappoint me at some parts but I didn't care I was glad to see Wolverine Kick Ass I mean you can't really take a summer blockbusters serious you should just have fun watching it and I did. The movie could of gone in a million different directions and I am glad to say that it didn't go in the Spiderman III or Spirit direction and became to goofy it had just the right tone. I was actually very pleased to see how Gambit and DeadPool were thrown into the movie and to see how involved they were in the film though some may disagree with the end result of Deadpool. The relation between Wolverine and Sabertooth was the most interesting plot of the movie and the most enjoyable part for me at least. Gavin Hood did a good job on directing some really cool action sequences and getting some good performances out of the actors I was surprised I liked Will i Am who wasn't really in the movie that much but he was good. One of the things I was a little disappointed about this movie was the fact that there was very little character development for an Origin story and the movie was just in to big of an hurry to get to all the action. I think if the first act of the movie had added more to Wolverines character it could been more enjoyable seeing all the action and Marvel Cameos. I did like the movie and while I wasn't disappointed by much I still liked the movie.
