This movie was funny but I was highly dissapointed with the overall feel of the movie. Yes I think Steve Carrel is funny, Yes I think he was the perfect choice for Maxwell Smart, No I didnt like the direction of the Comedy. I know they have to change it to fit todays standards but I still think they should have had more of the type of comedy that was in the show. It is called Get Smart. The ending was too abrupt. They foiled the plan and then thats it. They didnt catch him or anything, they just stopped it and thats it. No follow up or anything. Feels like there are to many loose ends. The acting was very good though. I find Steve Carrel very funny and Anne Hathaway was smokin' hot in this movie. The Directing, like I have said earlier I didnt like the direction of the comedy style in the movie. Oh, one more thing on that, in the credits it said Mel Brooks helped in the making of the movie so I feel that his type of humor was integrated. I love Mel Brooks movies but I dont think they should be mixed with Get Smart. Mel Brooks was on the original Get Smart team though, but I feel the humor used in the show is still different. The Visuals were nothing special at all. Overall the movie was ok but it left me wanting more out of it.
