88 Minutes: Review By CelluloidDreams

Can I have my "88 Minuts" Back???

This may be the most preposterous movie of the year. It is certainly the most ridiculous movie starring an Oscar-winning actor.

I want my 88 Minutes back! This film was laughable I couldn't tell if it was a thriller or a comedy! I want something back to make up for the 107 minutes that "88 Minutes steals" – no one involved with this picture knows how to count, either. I read somewhere that "88 Minutes" is out on DVD in Europe, a place that knows what to do with landfill.

The flaws in "88 Minutes" can be found in several areas (writing, directing, editing, acting, continuity, makeup and cinematography, for starters) and are fairly extensive to list all of them!

This film should get a "Razzie Award" for Worst Actor Al Pacino, Worst Director Jon Avnet, & Worst Picture!

This is on my "Worst Films" of 2008 list right next to "Funny Games" & "Leatherheads"!!!!
