Pacino, amazingly, for his advanced age plays much younger. The rest of the cast is fine and supports the story and Pacino to the extent they could be expected.
The direction, here, is what really kills this film. The story is decent and had potential, but as the back-story gets shuffled into the current story arc, you feel it's a little forced. Like we have 88 minutes in the story and we gotta jam too much in there. What we're left with is a perfectly watchable late-night DVD rental or HBO/Showtime viewing, but little else.
