I really enjoyed "30 Days of Night"! The coolest vampire movie since "Near Dark". The film was really good, not great by any means, but it was good! It keep me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Hartnett, Melissa George, Ben Foster -- deliver some fine work too! Normally Hartnett usually stinks in all of his films, but this was 1 film that he really didn't to bad of a job.

I have to agree W./a review that I read about

"30 Days of NIght" which stated: And hats off to Sony for not softening the blows; "30 Days of Night" is a powerfully R-rated experience -- and I'm thrilled to see a big-time Hollywood studio approach a respected horror property so seriously! What I also like was that "30 Days of NIght" was not predictable as so many films are, & you never knew (unless you read the novel) how the film would end. This film isnot for everyone, but for a horror fan like us it was a blast of film and not a waste of money like Rob Zombie's crappy Re-make of "Halloween", or those crappy "Saw" sequels!

This film's high-concept stroke of genius is the tiny Alaskan hamlet where nightfall indeed lasts all month, & the director made you feel lie you were just as trapped!
