28 Days Later: Review By Jakn
This is a zombie movie that doesn't try so hard to eat human brains for scares all because this zombie movie has a brain that's knowledgeable to bring real scares...a big bright brilliant brain

A SPOILER ALERT: It might offend women when the story develops into the horrors of sex slavery after the first hour and thirty minutes, but that's the scariest part about in the story as well and this film doesn't involve any abuse or graphic violence towards women. Be thankful for that.
I'll say once more! May offend women with its storytelling, but '28 Days Later' certainly has terrifying, clever, and original storytelling for a zombie movie. Time passes in 28 days after an unusual virus attack that has extended in the UK from idiots releasing raged diseased chimpanzees going dangerously bananas. A normal man named Jim (Cillian Murphy) wakes up in a hospital and takes a walk in town for a day noticing very extremely odd things in that day, but not too extremely odd until he goes inside a church.
After being chased by the zombies from the church he meets a female survivor named Selena (Naomie Harris) who explains everything that happened in the world to Jim. Jim and Selena run into a couple of other survivors that are like a family Mr. Bridges and his daughter. Later on out of the four survivors life is lost they are rescued by people in gas masks taken to a large castle-like building. At least they think they're rescued, but later the trio finds out that they came to the WRONG place at the WRONG time.
Other than the story being the scariest part of the film, there are other things in this zombie film that are also scary that you won't find in this film that most zombie movies ever had. Sometimes when the character encounter with zombies, it sometimes looks like the zombies have bitten one of the characters. After each encounter the film starts bringing you suspense and counting down seconds making you think that this character is going to turn into a zombie and start killing, but it makes it look like characters got bitten. So the film messes with your mind bringing the suspense that other zombie movies should have.
Plus the make-up designing on the zombies are incredibility creepy to look at. Right when you see these zombies on screen they'll send chills down your spine right away and that's another thing that makes this film terrifying are the zombies looks. I'd have to say the most terrifying scene with a zombie that as goo make-up designing is when an infected child zombie pops out from the ceiling in silence.
Overall '28 Days Later' is the best zombie movie I've seen by far.

@Narrator Part 2 wasn't *that* bad. I rather enjoyed it quite a bit. I liked its "unrealistic action scenes" :P
But yes, Part 1 was better.

The Narrator: The Better Man
I enjoyed this movie a lot, and it was also 4.5 star worthy in my book. This is a pretty good review, but it has a lot of typos and you could stand to branch out into more specific things about the film, and be more clear. That said, I enjoyed the read, and I hope to see this film again soon.
@everyone else... sorry, but this film was a superior achievement in every way to the sequel. It had characters you could sympathize for, unlike the plastic characters in 'Weeks Later (save for Renner). It also had better cinematography and a more eerie feel to it. The second just had bigger scope, and more unrealistic action scenes. Thats me.

@Pie They are pretty good movies. But you have to have patience. These aren't for the Michael Bay-ish crowd, that's for sure.

Yeah the sequel was solid, too. I was hooked from the beginning, when he's on the boat, saying 'oh sh*t oh sh*t oh sh*t'.... dude... I'd have the same reaction lol.

Well technically their not zombies, their stark raving mad infected still alive people. But it is all semantics :P
Good review, I enjoyed this movie, too. Lots of haunting shots in it.
