2001: A Space Odyssey: Review By SCREENWRITER

Some people might find this movie bad because its too long and boring for them to sit trough, or because they dont understand whats going on while they watch it. These are one of those movies were you cant take your eyes off the screen or you'll be lost trough the whole movie right when you look back. Some people might find it boring because the movie takes a while to really to get to its point. But every scene in this movie has a deep meaning. Every single one of em'! If you're one of those people who FOUND this movie too confusing or too boring then watch it agian and ACTUALLY watch it this time. You WILL NOT be dissapointed. Yes, this movie takes about 35 minutes to start the talking scenes. The first 25 minutes of the movie is apes relating to something un-usual. It may sound boring but it really inst. Its quite interesting. Then it gets to the film and it gets even more amazing. Like i said before, this movie will NOT let you down. Trust me. It wont! Even if you're not a Stanley Kubrick fan, you may find this movie really good. I like Stanley K. He's made amazing movies like "The Shining" and "A Clockwork Orange." Now, this is actaully just as amazing..for me and maybe for you too! This movie is not a letdown...its a let-up. lol.

The movie's acting was very amazing and well done. You cannot ask for any better acting in this movie. Every character did a FANTASTIC job playing there roles. I did not think bad of any part in this movie, not even little lined roles. I'll say it agian, YOU CANNOT ASK FOR ANY BETTER ACTING THAN THIS!

The directing was great, it was very well done for a movie that came out in the late-60's. Great job, Kubrick, great job.

Like i said on the directing, the visuals were great too for a very old movie. Very VERY well done.

All and all, see this! If you have and thought bad of it, then see it agian and TRY TO UNDERSTAND IT this time. You will not be dissapointed...i promise.
