official Avengers replicas from eFX

After making full-scale prop replicas and collectibles for some of the most iconic science-fiction, fantasy and action franchises of all time, eFX Inc. announced today that it will unveil an all-new line based on film and comics characters in the Marvel Universe.

eFX, which has acquired worldwide rights to create Marvel collectibles, plans to reveal its new line of Marvel collectibles in the first quarter of 2012, and to display the first collectible prop replicas from the upcoming Marvel film The Avengers at WonderCon in Anaheim, Calif., from March 16 to March 18.

Included in its initial line-up of limited-edition Marvel collectibles are expected to be Captain America shield, Thor's hammer and a full-scale Iron Man Mark V mask. As fans worldwide anxiously await the May 4 theatrical release of The Avengers - which brings together some of the most famous Super Heroes ever created - eFX will continue introducing new Marvel-based collectibles based on these incredible characters.

In addition to prop replicas and high-end collectibles, eFX will also offer a series of items inspired by Marvel characters and properties, which, like the replicas, will be available on its website at EFXCollectibles.com and at select retail locations. Prices are expected to range from $49 to $1,500 and more.

Marvel's The Avengers was released May 4th, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg. The film is directed by Joss Whedon.

As cool as these drawn pictures may be I would love to see a poster with the actual people.

@Number1Wolverine -- I agree, and I apologize for the incoherent sentence - I backspaced and didn't proofread it, ha.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx - Right on, I'm still mad that Disney owns them. I don't know what it is about Disney, something just seems off about the way they do business.

@Number1Wolverine -- Oh, definitely. They can't go anywhere but downhill since Disney now that owns the company.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx - I know isn't that funny, my god I just got a feeling that Marvel is going to go downhill in a couple years like what happened when they went bankrupt. Not saying they are going to go bankrupt again, but something like it.

Yeah, that would be great. Maybe they'll release real posters in March or April, before The Avengers "May 4th" theatrical release ?

I want some real posters, not these damn cartoony looking ones!

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx - I'm glad you agree, now that I really think about it "who the hell does Marvel hire to make there posters, because they are just terrible". I know they need to promote this to kids but come on, even kids know bad poster when they see them. They need to go back and get whoever made The Iron Man posters for The Avengers, that's the only Marvel movie that had good looking posters.

Okay, all the good posters are cartoons/animated, and all the live-action posters are awful. Great.

@moviemouse - Not really, the fan made posters look much better.
