It seems everyone has Marvel Fever after yesterday's blockbuster announcement, where the studio revealed their entire Phase Three slate that consists of nine movies. Last night, NCIS: Los Angeles star LL Cool J sent out an interesting tweet to his 4.5 million followers, which either hints that he's up for a role, or that he's interested in joining the ever-expansive Marvel Cinematic Universe. Take a look at his brief message below.

With so many different projects in various stages of development, including the newly-announced Black Panther starring Chadwick Boseman, Inhumans and what will likely be a slew of new characters introduced in Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2, it's nearly impossible to glean what role the 46-year-old LL Cool J might even be interested in.

Since his tweet specifically mentioned a "Marvel movie," it's unlikely that he's being eyed to play Luke Cage in the Marvel Netflix TV series of the same name, especially since his current CBS series NCIS: Los Angeles is still pulling solid ratings after six seasons on the air.

The most likely scenario is that LL Cool J just simply wants to be a part of what Marvel is doing, and, to be honest, who could blame him? After all, this same type of self-promotion helped Channing Tatum land the Gambit role, and Vin Diesel teased his involvement with Marvel long before he was officially confirmed as Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy. However, he also offered another cryptic tweet earlier today, that could indicate he is already in talks.
