Marvel and Disney let Robert Downey Jr. launch the first character poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron this morning. It of course features the actor as Tony Stark, unmasked, dressed in his new Iron Man armor, ready to face an enemy of his own creation. But Robert Downey Jr. being who he is, couldn't just simply let the poster go into the wild without some exciting news attached to it. What is that news? We have no idea just yet, but we will know next Thursday at roughly exactly this time. Debuting the poster on his personal Facebook page, RDJ boldly proclaims:

"Got a little something for ya, folks. Just cuz you're awesome, check out this new Iron Man poster for Avengers #AgeOfUltron. And don't tell 'em I told you, but there's a big announcement coming in 8 days... Shhhhhhh #getexcited"

The immediate thought is that he is announcing the final full-length trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, which would arrive after two teasers. This latest footage might also bring our first look at Paul Bettany as Vision. Though, another possibility is that Marvel will officially introduce Spider-Man into the MCU. This could also come with an officially casting announcement on who will appear as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, and whether or not it will actually be Peter Parker or someone else, possibly Miles Morales. Or, we could learn who will play Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, a character that is rumored to be introduced at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, which would make more sense, since he is promoting Avengers: Age of Ultron here with this tease.

What do you hope Marvel announces next Thursday, March 5? Really it could be anything. While we anxiously await the big reveal, take a look at the latest Avengers: Age of Ultron Iron Man poster:
