Mark Wahlberg to Appear with ‘Ted’ at the ‘85th Annual Academy Awards’

The actor reveals that deals are finalized for ‘Ted 2’, with the screenplay currently being written.

Ted director Seth MacFarlane is getting ready for his duties as host of the 85th Annual Academy Awards. Today, we have word that he is bringing a certain teddy bear with him. Mark Wahlberg confirmed on the talk show Anderson Live that he will be appearing alongside Ted, voiced by Seth MacFarlane, on the February 24 telecast.

"Because Seth is hosting the Oscars, Ted and I will be appearing at the Oscars."

The actor also spoke briefly about a Ted sequel, confirming that the deals have been made and the script is currently being written.

"There is a Ted 2. We've already locked the deal, and they're off writing now. I've never done a sequel before, but I have just so much confidence in Seth. He's just such a talented, funny guy."

Ted earned a massive $394 million worldwide last summer.

The Academy Awards episode 61.1, "The 85th Annual Academy Awards" stars Seth MacFarlane} and is directed by Don Mischer}.

Ted was released June 29th, 2012 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Seth MacFarlane, Joel McHale, Giovanni Ribisi, Patrick Warburton, Matt Walsh, Jessica Barth. The film is directed by Seth MacFarlane.

    I feel that in everyone's head - mine included - this is going to be amazing and hilarious. However, in Academy Awards reality, it'll probably be really really cheesy and lame. Guess we'll have to wait and see, but I won't get my hopes up.
