@2movieguys There's a lot to see, the perfromance by Cavill and the rest of the cast, a more humanize plot with more action than previous entries, of course you will see the film, all your friends and cousins telling you about the film, and you waiting for it to come to Blu Ray? that's not gonna happen, I'm sure you will see it.

@justinishulk This time is different, two amazing directors, one producing, the other directing, an amazing cast with a budget of $225 million, the film will definitely make a record on the first 3 days, that's for sure. The film might not pass The Avengers or The Dark Knight Rises mark, but it will definitely touch the 1 billion dollar mark worldwide, at least, is a start for the new franchise. I mean Inception, an original film by Nolan went on to gross 800 million worldwide, that's impressive for a non-franchise film, the film is masterpiece, but I never imagined that it was going to do so much. Man of Steel a new film telling the story of a beloved superhero, for what? 60 years? with Nolan and Snyder, two beloved directors, that have amazed moviegoers and critics alike all over the world, what's to rethink? it will make 1 billion worldwide, at least.

By the time of the marketing over-kill...I wouldn't have to pay for the film...well we all know what happens anyways; it's just a reboot/remake; etc. nothing to see move along!

@Trangalanga10 In 2006, Superman Returns made 200 million in the U.S. and 391 milllion worldwide and got positive reviews from critics. Warner Bros. said they were hoping for 500 million worldwide.

In 2013, Man of Steel will need to make at least 400 million to beat Superman Returns disappointing box office. The Avengers grossed 1.5 billion, and the Dark Knight and the Dark Knight Rises grossed over 1 billion a piece.

Warner Bros. is in need of a franchise:

Harry Potter is done. Nolan's Batman is done. The Green Lantern flopped. The Hobbit is being stretched into 3 movies to make it seem like Warner Bros. actually still has a huge franchise left.

Will Man of Steel be a success if it only barely surpasses Superman Returns gross. Incredible Hulk barely passed Hulk's gross and Marvel Studios has no plans to give the character another film anytime soon.

How much does Man of Steel have to make for Warner Bros. to go forward with more DC films that aren't Batman?

@Trangalanga10 I remember Henry saids: "It's not a dark movie by any means. Past representations of the character have been quite light... This is a more realistic view of the character, while still maintaining the very unrealistic, or potentially unrealistic features of an alien with superpowers."

"There is more action in Man of Steel than any of the Dark Knight Films"

@justinishulk Is going to break records, and that's not just a gut feeling, Everyone is going to see the film, the people that say otherwise are lying to themselves, On that day, everyone posting reviews on MW, people posting on Facebook and Twitter, their opinions on the film, like The Avengers, but much much better.

@justinishulk I heard early screening reviews are off the charts, they say the movie is a Masterpiece and the performances are Amazing, I'm not surprised, Nolan's theme with Snyder's vision. is like giving fans, moviegoers, non-moviegoers and critics, the perfect gift.

@themoviefanatic That's funny, but that's something serious, you have a short time memory, a trauma, you should get that checked out.
