yea. you & me both dude. im always down with having extras on a bluray. like diff endings, or extended cutscenes. stuff not needed to trim down the movie a bit but it helps showing alil more of whats going on during that moment, whether its no big deal or not.
You know what would have gave me chills?...
If at the end of the dark knight rises, right after the batpod blows up and well batman escapes right? if we saw something like shoot across the sky sumhow or sum kinda sign that would tell us.."superman saved batman" even tho we may not have actually saw him.
1 of those things "look up in the sky, its a plane, its a bird, no it looks like a flying man"
Anyways we never really found out how batman escaped other than what was told but we didnt really see it. but imagin if who or what saved him was superman.
    Anyways just a thought.

@jasonkat: I truly do hope that there will indeed be an Extended Cut of this film since it left me expecting a bit more after it ended.

i usually look up extended, unrated, director's cut versions b4 buying this kinda set, to compare em with what has more or better features, the only downside is that you have to wait nearly a year for that to come out.
look up Man of steel director's cut or extended cut 2014" you'll find alot of info on that. But sum people dont really care they will just buy this set instead. so no big deal.

@jasonkat When the first Avatar release was announced they had already announced there would be a second release later on with the extras, so nobody was "cheated".

You guys should hold-on on grabbing this set, because its the "avatar" move. . Theres another bluray on the way spring 2014. sumwhere around april or may. that will feature more stuff, maybe eve deleted stuff.
The reason for that is because whe avatar came out it was nothing but a movie stand alone, a few short months later, they brought out the 3 disc extended cutt which features over 3 hours of bonus footage. Alot of people who got the first bluray, were pissed about that. because they didnt know it would be resold with extras.
So this movie is about to have an ectended version of superman back in theaters with extras, b4 it hits extended bluray sumtime next year. google it. you'll find it.
Other wise, enjoy this set for those who will be getting it. :)
