Thanks Right Hand. Yeah, I love 28 Days Later, and I'm pulling for the third, which is possibly going to be directed by Danny Boyl again. Even Behind the Mask has a potential sequel lined up.

Great list. 28 days later is one of my favorite horror movies. And behind the mask was good to.

Yeah, I'm not really sure how to put it--it's just so weird that, yet well executed... Something like that...

Well, that one's just so surreal, I guess--what with the "PANCAKES!!!" yellin' kid and the bunny rabbit suit at the end staring at the main character in the hospital. For me, it makes all of the creepiness so much weirder. That, and the music is phenomenal, as is the look and feel of the movie. For his first film, Roth did quite an excellent job. The film was just so different than the horror garbage being released at the time.

For me, I think the "under appreciated-ness" comes through because of how people perceive some of these films. Like Saw and Hostel, people observe them as straight torture-porn, when in reality, they're actually very clever and well executed films with themes working deeper than just carnage. Same goes for a couple of others like 28 Days Later and 30 Days of Night. People watch them, but they really don't realize how much they actually added to their respective genres. 28 Days direction, ferocity and musical score are unmatched in the zombie category. 30 Days had excellent direction and even better sound design. It's the little things to these films that for me--make them great and in turn, I think it's these little things that viewers overlook, and thus, I find these films under appreciated.

I've seen all these!

Borderland- Sorry, but I didnt like that one

Frontiers- ok

Cujo- ok

Dust Devil- didnt see that one there, so i lied- i havent seen that one lol

Behind the Mask- awesome!

Near Dark- also awesome!

30 Days of Night- im not sure this one is underappreciated, because most like it, and i know it was popular, and it was really god

Day of the Dead- yea, this one shoud be here

Cabin Fever- sucked asssssssss (sorry)

The Descent- pretty cool

Saw- awesome! but i think it gets the appreciation it deserves

Ravenous- yea, OK, the ONLY OTHER one i havent seen lol

Hostel- i love both these, and cant figure why people dont like them

Slither- liked it better the first time i saw it, but it has Elizabeth Banks, so its good ;)

28 Days Later- i also think this gets enough credit, i like it, but what the hell is up with the random, pointless, faggish, offensive male nudity at the beginning?
