I couldent find a way to isolate the sole character themselves on trhis site so i used whatever movie they were most known for. some may argue i may have overlooked a few noteable Roles but for me growing up these people are what made me a movie fan.

Tombstone Doc Holiday- Arguebly the best role Val Kilmer ever played, Doc Was charming, funny and was always down for a gunfight. A guy you could both cheer for and cry for.A flawed hero with a quik wit and even quiker draw, Among a cast of talented legends, Holiday is in a class all his own. A daisy by any other name is still A Badass! Famous Qoute: im your Huckleberry

Good, The Bad and the Ugly [Collector's Edition] [2 Discs] The man with no name- while some may say that some of Clints best work was as the steel chinned Dirty Harry. No name is synompious not just with wetern fans but movie fans in general. Clints character was one of the first anti heros that you could realy root for. Who can forget the piercing cold stare of clint while comping down a cigar? No name is the definition of badassery often copied but never equeled. Famous quote: None that cold stare says it all!!

Seven Samurai [Criterion Collection] Kikuchiyo- Seven samurai is a classic in every sence of the word. While providing a rich entertaining characters, Kikuchiyo is what gave the movie personality Toshiro Mifune A great Japanese actor, plays one of his best roles as the over exuberent would be samurai. What sets him apart is how the character can change your view of him in every scene hes in. Sometimes hel have you rolling with laughs as he teaches young children to sword fight in the next minute hel have you weeping like a baby as he expains his origin. A great movie, but stands equeless due to such a great performance by Mifune

Big Lebowski [WS] [Collector's Edition] Jeffry Lebowski (the dude...man) -Jeff Lebowski Or the dude as he prefers. is the guy we ALL know. The out of work bum, aging hipster who gets by on unemployment and gets high reminising on the old days. in a word: the dude is lazy. maybe thats an understatment but damn is he fun to watch, Jeff Bridges plays this luvable buffoon to a tee. As you cant help but enjoy the misshapes this guy gets himself into. Sam elliot's character describes him as a bit of a hero. while thats debatable his detective skills are dually noted. while not the most inspirational character in cinema, a nod must be made when people celbrate the movies release. Famous quote: the dude abides

Die Hard John Mclane- John Mclane is a mans man. in the late eighties, while being bombarded with super steroid likes of Stallone and Annnuuuuld. Bruce Willis showed us a hero that we could realy get behind. He didint have 24 inch biceps, a machine gun bigger than a 6 year old or a realy strong accent. What he did have was a police issued pistol and Personality. He was a normal guy in an abnormal situation. A quick wit and even quicker reflexes are what save him and his wife in the end. While the sequels make for less believable fact of a guy being in the wrong place at the wrong time theve helped shape the character into the reatable hero we all know and love. Famous quote: Yippi kay ya Mother F!!

The Dark Knight Joker-What can be said that already hasent already been by movie fans ands critiques alike? Heath Ledger Ends his career that quite littaraly was the performance of a lifetime. No one expected the impact that TDK made on the movie world. All due to the Joker it took a helleva performance for us all to look past the riddicuously sounding Bale Batman voice and ledger did it while setting his name in stone with movie goers. Joker is the definition of madness unpredictable and always one step ahead of the good guys. Ledger truly fished at the top of his game while setting a new standerd for movie villians. Famous quote: Lets put a smile on that face!!

Scarface [WS] [Anniversary Edition] Tony Mantana- Al Pacino has played alot of great roles over the years, while it was a toss up between Tony or Michael Coralone. Scarface is whats most synomptious with fans. While Tonys character has its flaws, (an un natural bond with his younger sister, Addiction to cocaine) his will is unparraleled. He doesent let down even in the face of death, he hold his ground and his morals.famous quote: and theres two things i never break, thats my word and his balls for nobody maen.

Aliens Ellen ripley-when you think of strong female leads of the first to come to mind is Ripley. Weaver's stand out role that made her a star and insperation to women everywhere that chicks can kick just ass well as men. While the first movie introduced the character the sequel realy set the tone for the character as both gun tooting badass but also thru it all has a mothering nuturing side. Famous quote: get awat from her you bitch!

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope Han Solo- You know he had to make the list somewhere, while there are plenty of great characters(and some not so great which we can thank the prequels for) in the star wars universe, it was hard to name but one. (others befit into another list) Han Solo is a name is the name that makes nurds quiver with excitement. He had charisma and courage that only strengthened his charming good looks. Harrison ford owes this character his career, as he was the reluclent hero we all wish we could be growing up.Famous quote: Leah: I love you... Han (before being frozen replies i know.

The Edge Charles Morse- Anthony Hopkins is one of my favorate actors of all time and there are plenty of roles that could easily make the list but for me it was his role as millionare Charles Morse. the begining of the movie shows a somber yet very intelligent ritch man with a trophy wife whos very insecure of his model wife. Hopkins character realy shines as his character is thrown into the wilderness with the whiny photograher with no food or shelter to speak of. Its here where Charles character blooms as his missguiding know it all shows meaning in the wilds of the woods. Both men are certainly pushed to the Edge (no pun intended) to the brink of there sanity. especialy after being hounded by a bloodthirsty grissley bear. Hopkins role is both likeable and engaging as it shows two men react to be on the Edge. Famous Quote: then im gonna kill the mother F#####
