‘Les Miserables’ International Trailer

Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe lead an all-star cast in director Tom Hooper’s highly-anticipated adaptation of the Broadway musical.

Universal Pictures has debuted an international trailer for Les Miserables, the studio's upcoming musical based on the heralded Broadway stage production. Here, we get a better look at the massive scope of this adaptation, featuring the entire cast and some of the iconic songs they perform. Watch and get immersed in the wondrous world of director Tom Hooper's adaptation of the Victor Hugo novel, set in 19th Century France.

Les Miserables was released December 25th, 2012 and stars Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks. The film is directed by Tom Hooper.

    As pumped as I am to see this, let's see how it fares against Django first. I wouldn't put it past QT to come out against this Oscar juggernaut and have the superior film.

    On a negative note, I can't stand Amanda Seyfried's feeble voice. And Russell Crowe sounds like he's struggling a bit.

    I preferred the editing of the first trailer, but I'm still pumped for this film. Crowe's singing was surprising, and Jackman's always a talent. Can't wait.
