Lena Headey to Play 'Game of Thrones'

Actress will take on the role of Queen Cersei of House Lannister.

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Lena Headey (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) is going to star in Game of Thrones for HBO.

The pilot is an adaptation of the George R.R. Martin fantasy book series. It examines a battle between "seven kingdoms and two ruling families for control of the Iron Throne."

Headey plays the role of Queen Cersei of House Lannister. She is the wife of King Robert (Mark Addy) and sister of twin brother Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) as well as outsider younger brother Tyrion (Peter Dinkladge).

Starring in this pilot is Sean Bean in the role of Ned Stark.
