‘Legion’ TV Series in the Works at Syfy

Scott Stewart will direct the pilot episode and executive produce this new series based on his 2010 biblical thriller.

The 2010 action-thriller Legion is being reworked for a new TV series, which will air on the Syfy network.

Legion writer-director Scott Stewart will executive produce and direct the pilot episode, which is being written by Sons of Anarchy scribe Vaun Wilmott. No plot details were given regarding the series.

Legion was released in January 2010 and starred Paul Bettany as an exiled angel who goes against God's orders and goes to flees to help the humans survive the impending apocalypse.

Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Lucas Black, Adrianne Palicki, Kevin Durand, Kate Walsh, Jon Tenney, and Willa Holland also starred in Legion.

It isn't known if any of the Legion cast members will return for the TV series.

Legion was released January 22nd, 2010 and stars Paul Bettany, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, Adrianne Palicki, Charles S. Dutton, Kevin Durand, Jon Tenney, Willa Holland. The film is directed by Scott Stewart.
