Latest 'Hercules: The Thracian Wars' Set Photo Moves The Action Onto The Battlefield

Star Dwayne Johnson will spend his weekend shooting one of the biggest battle scenes in this Brett Ratner directed epic.

Fresh from a few days off, which he spent mostly working out, action star Dwayne Johnson is back on the set of director Brett Ratner's epic retelling of the Hercules myth in Hercules: The Thracian Wars. This weekend, the pair will shoot an extensive battle scene that will serve as a key set piece in this summer 2014 release. Hercules was released July 25th, 2014 and stars Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, John Hurt, Rufus Sewell, Aksel Hennie, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Reece Ritchie, Joseph Fiennes. The film is directed by Brett Ratner.
