Shortly after the first trailer was released last month for Jurassic World, director Colin Trevorrow offered a detailed breakdown of the first footage. That breakdown revealed that Irrfan Khan's character, Masrani, is the park's new owner, whose company Masrani Global bought Jurassic Park from InGen and re-opened the attraction in 2005. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Irrfan Khan offered new story and character details, revealing that Masrani is rather flamboyant, but not that wise.

"I'm playing the park owner, a very flamboyant person. When the first Jurassic Park came out, I barely had the money to see it and now I'm playing a part. He's trying to entertain the world with good intentions, but sometimes being flamboyant doesn't mean having much wisdom."

When asked how this new sequel compares to the original Jurassic Park, which was directed by Steven Spielberg, the actor revealed that this long-awaited follow-up speaks to our technologically-advanced society. Here's what he had to say below, revealing Jurassic World will be a "scary adventure," but it's not a horror film.

"For sure it will have more vibe. It's the Jurassic World of these times, with all the technical experimentation. It has now become a fully-bloomed dinosaur amusement park. Dinosaurs in this film will definitely be scary, but this is not a horror film, so it will be like a scary adventure."

While the actor is surrounded by a cast that includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Vincent D'Onofrio, several of his "co-stars" are the CGI dinosaurs that are being created in post-production. When asked how difficult the filmmaking process was, Irrfan Khan had this to say, while praising writer-director Colin Trevorrow.

"As an actor what's most important is how the story and the director make you feel on the set and that's immaterial if you have CGI or real partners. If you have a good chemistry with the director everything's fine and I really loved the playfulness of the script and Colin's approach."
