Josh Holloway, Laz Alonso, Josh Peck, Chris Brown, and Caity Lotz will star in Planet B Boy for Screen Gems and director Benson Lee.

Brin Hill and Chris Parker are writing the screenplay, which is based on director Benson Lee's 2008 documentary Planet B-Boy. The story follows a B-boy dance crew, who are training for the Battle of the Year International Championships in France. They must go up against the best dancers in the world, primarily the Russian and French crews.

Beau Flynn, Tripp Vinson, and Amy Lo are producing for Screen Gems.

Production has currently started in Los Angeles for a brief shoot before moving to Montpellier, France.
