‘jOBS’ Trailer Starring Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs

Joshua Michael Stern’s biopic follows the formation of Apple and the guys behind it, in theaters this August.

After Steve Jobs passed away at age 56 in 2011, two competing biopics started to pick up steam. The first one out of the gate is jOBS, starring Ashton Kutcher as the late Apple co-founder, and Josh Gad as his business partner Steve Wozniak. While there have been no recent updates regarding the other movie, the Aaron Sorkin-scripted Steve Jobs, the first trailer has debuted for jOBS, directed by Joshua Michael Stern. Watch the latest footage from this upcoming drama, which follows this business pioneer's life from 1971 to 2000, in theaters from Open Road Films on August 16.

Jobs was released August 16th, 2013 and stars Ashton Kutcher, Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, Matthew Modine, J.K. Simmons, Lesley Ann Warren, Ron Eldard. The film is directed by Joshua Michael Stern.

Steve Jobs comes to theaters October 9th, 2015 and stars Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Sarah Snook, Katherine Waterston, Jeff Daniels, Michael Stuhlbarg, Perla Haney-Jardine. The film is directed by Danny Boyle.

Ok Steve Jobs maybe have been a smart guy etc. But he definitely was not a particularly nice person, if they portray this as well as Social Network might becoe more interesting.

Wow? Amazing? No. Not really. Average and underwhelming come to mind.

Ok...wrong choice of song, wrong way to edit it. Couldn't take it seriously nor get into whatever tone they were trying to deliver

hmmmm.... why am i not impressed with this? Feels... formulaic? Probably because I am comparing this to the social network which blew me away. I can't judge it yet, i need to see more. Plus, Steve jobs simply 'classed up' electronics. They used to be clunky and bulgy with bland colors. The biggest thing steve jobs did was simplifying and formulating the persona we recognize today. Lie in the trailer, he made it cool and sleek that is affordable to the general public.
