The Washington Post is reporting that Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling was a guest at the White House's Easter Egg Roll on Monday and read to a small group of kids and answered questions.

The author said she doesn't plan on writing any offshoots of the Potter series, but she didn't rule it out either: "maybe 10 years from now," depending on how she feels. But she told one child she does want to write more books.

"Yes, I do, and I am," Rowling said. "I'm quite sure in the not-too-distant future I will bring out another book."
