‘Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit’ Title Revealed in First Poster

The first trailer for this action-thriller debuts Thursday, October 3rd. Chris Pine stars as the title character for director Kenneth Branagh.

Paramount Pictures killed two birds with one stone today, revealing the new title for Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (formerly Jack Ryan) with the first poster, featuring star Chris Pine. The studio also announced that the first trailer for this action-thriller debuts tomorrow, October 3, so stay tuned for the first footage. The one-sheet is sadly coupled with the tragic news from earlier today that author Tom Clancy, who created the Jack Ryan character, passed away at the age of 66.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit was released January 17th, 2014 and stars Chris Pine, Keira Knightley, Kevin Costner, Kenneth Branagh, Lenn Kudrjawizki, Alec Utgoff, Peter Andersson, Elena Velikanova. The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh.
