After a strange sexual encounter, a teenager finds herself haunted by nightmarish visions and the inescapable sense that something is after her in the first domestic trailer for the horror thriller It Follows. David Robert Mitchell, best known for his indie hit The Myth of the American Sleepover, directs this unique take on the supernatural genre. The movie is headlined by newcomer Maika Monroe and fan-favorite Keir Gilchrist.

For 19-year-old Jay (Maika Monroe), fall should be about school, boys and weekends out at the lake. But after a seemingly innocent sexual encounter, she finds herself plagued by strange visions and the inescapable sense that someone, or something, is following her. Faced with this burden, Jay and her teenage friends must find a way to escape the horrors that seem to be only a few steps behind.

It Follows doesn't have a set release date at this time. RADiUS-TWC picked up the domestic distribution rights to the film back in June, following its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. Linda Boston, Heather Fairbanks, Aldante Foster, Keir Gilchrist, Ruby Harris, Christopher Hohman and Olivia Luccardi also star.
