With the Christmas Day release less than a week away, Walt Disney Pictures has released two clips and two featurettes for Into the Woods. Cinderella (Anna Kendrick) pushes away Prince Charming (Chris Pine) after he "strays" in the first clip, while Jack (Daniel Huttlestone) is forced to sell his beloved cow, at the behest of his mother (Tracey Ullman) in the second clip. The featurettes include interviews with cast members such as Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, Chris Pine, Anna Kendrick, James Corden, composer Stephen Sondheim and director Rob Marshall, along with brand new footage and insight into this Broadway musical adaptation.

Into the Woods is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy)-all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife (James Corden & Emily Blunt), their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch (Meryl Streep) who has put a curse on them.

Into the Woods' Christmas Day competition is a bit lighter, after Sony Pictures pulled The Interview from theaters, but it still has to face Universal's Unbroken and Paramount's The Gambler on December 25.
