After starring in the blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy last year with another potential hit in Jurassic World slated for release this year, Deadline reports that Disney is eyeing Chris Pratt to star in a new Indiana Jones reboot, with the actor taking over in the title role made famous by Harrison Ford. Nothing is set in stone yet, as talks are said to be in very early stages, but the actor is said to be the studio's favorite to take over the title role.

There have been plenty of Indiana Jones reboot rumors that have circulated throughout the past few years, with Bradley Cooper rumored to take over for Harrison Ford last year, although those reports were later debunked. A few months later, Robert Pattinson was said to be Disney's top choice, but we never heard anything about his involvement since then. Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed just a few months ago that they are still planning a new Indiana Jones movie, but that the studio is "pacing itself" with that project, and that project won't be fully developed until after they launch their new Star Wars franchise with this year's Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

It isn't known if the project has a screenwriter or director attached at this time, but an earlier report revealed that Frank Darabont was working on a version of the screenplay. Do you think Chris Pratt is the right choice to take over the Indiana Jones franchise? Or would you like to see Harrison Ford play Indy one last time? Chime in with your thoughts below.
