In news that shouldn't come as too much of a shock to anyone, Netflix has decided to renew House of Cards. The immensely popular streaming series will return in 2016 with all-new episodes. No premiere date has been announced at this time. And no further details have been revealed.

House of Cards Season 3 debuted just a little less than two months ago, with all 13 episodes available on Netflix starting February 27. The show continues to be quite popular with fans. The news comes after a number of other Netflix announcements today. The streaming service is nearing a deal to bring Full House back for 13 new episodes in a reunion series titled Fuller House with most of the main cast. And they also announced today that Mr. Show with Bob and David stars Bob Odenkirk and David Cross are bringing their new sketch show to Netflix. The just released drama series Bloodline has also been renewed for a second season.

Many believed that House of Cards Season 3 would bring the fall of Frank Underwood and serve as the final season. At this time, it isn't known how long the series will continue to run. Showrunner Beau Willimon has not shared his plans for the future of the show. It's expected that House of Cards Season 4 will debut in late February 2016 or in early March of next year. Will it mark the end for Frank Underwood? Or just the beginning?
