Less than one month after Seth Gordon dropped out of Horrible Bosses 2 due to scheduling conflicts, New Line Cinema has brought on Sean Anders to direct, with his frequent collaborator John Morris serving as executive producer.

Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis and Jamie Foxx are reprising their roles from the original Horrible Bosses, which followed a group of disgruntled employees who hatch a plan to kill their bosses.

Horrible Bosses writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein wrote the screenplay for this sequel, with Sean Anders and John Morris recently performing a rewrite. No plot details have been released at this time. We reported last month that New Line hopes to get production rolling this fall.

Sean Anders and John Morris wrote the script for New Line's current comedy hit We're the Millers. Their other writing credits include Sex Drive, She's Out of My League, Hot Tub Time Machine, Mr. Popper's Penguins and the upcoming Dumb and Dumber To.

Horrible Bosses 2 was released November 26th, 2014 and stars Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, Chris Pine, Christoph Waltz. The film is directed by Sean Anders.
