‘Hector and the Search for Happiness’ International Trailer Starring Simon Pegg

Simon Pegg goes on a worldwide hunt for eternal enlightenment in the new trailer for Peter Chelsom’s ‘Hector and the Search for Happiness’.

Peter Chelsom directs Hector and the Search for Happiness, an adaptation of the Francois Lelord novel starring Simon Pegg. In this dramatic comedy, Hector, a married psychiatrist who loses his way, goes on a globe-trotting tour to discover the eternal light of being.

Check out the first footage as Hector leaves his wife in a slightly unpleasant mood, with co-stars Rosamund Pike, Toni Collette, Stellan Skarsgård, Christopher Plummer and Jean Reno joining in on the joys of discovery.

Hector is an eccentric yet irresistible London psychiatrist in crisis: his patients are just not getting any happier! He's going nowhere. One day, armed with buckets of courage and an almost child-like curiosity, Hector breaks out of his sheltered vacuum of a life into a global quest to find out if happiness exists. especially for Hector.

Hector and the Search for Happiness was released September 19th, 2014 and stars Simon Pegg, Jordan Schartner, Rosamund Pike, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Veronica Ferres, Jakob Davies, Chris Gauthier, Michael Adamthwaite. The film is directed by Peter Chelsom.
