Paramount Pictures has pushed Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters out of its March 2 release date all the way up to January 11, 2013. As of now, it is the only movie opening on that date.

The studio has also moved the Eddie Murphy comedy A Thousand Words from March 23 (where it would have had to open against The Hunger Games) to April 20. The comedy is now facing Chimpanzee, House at the End of the Street, MS One: Maximum Security, and Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.

Paramount Vantage has shifted Jeff Who Lives at Home from March 2 to March 16. The comedy will go up against 21 Jump Street and Mirror Mirror in the new release date.
