Ophelia Lovibond has nabbed a supporting role in the upcoming Marvel stand-alone adventure Guardians of the Galaxy.

Details about her character are being kept a secret for now. It is known that she will be playing a henchman to The Collector, one of the Elders of the Universe that the Guardians encounter in this upcoming sci-fi adventure.

Ophelia Lovibond joins Chris Pratt as Star Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Michael Rooker as Yondu and Zoe Saldana who is in talks for Gamora. No further story details have been released at this time.

The 27-year-old British actress most recently appeared in the comedies No Strings Attached and Mr. Popper's Penguins. Ophelia Lovibond was also seen in the English films London Boulevard and Nowhere Boy.

Guardians of the Galaxy has locked in a June start date, and will be in theaters next summer.
