Gotham returns tonight with the show's second episode "Selina Kyle", airing at 8 PM ET on Fox. In anticipation of this debut, The CW has released an extended preview teasing several upcoming plot details throughout the rest of Season 1. It also gives us our first look at a number of impending villains, including Mr. Zsasz.

In the DC Comics, Victor Zsasz is a serial killer who usually kills with a knife and carves a tally mark somewhere on himself for every victim. He is seen here calling out James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) right in the middle of the Gotham police station, although it's unclear what issues Zsasz may have with the detective. We also get to see footage of a villain assumed to be Scarecrow, although it hasn't been confirmed, along with a brief shot of a man wearing a pig mask, bringing what may be our first look at Professor Pyg.

This latest preview also reveals a number of plot developments, including Gotham City mayor Aubrey James (Richard Kind) outlining his plans to revitalize the Arkham district, home to the abandoned Arkham Asylum. We also get to see the return of Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Taylor) to Gotham, along with our first look at David Zayas as Maroni, who is "making a play" at Arkham.

If this isn't enough to tide you over, Fox has also released a featurette that explores the relationship between young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and his loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee). Check out the latest footage before Gotham returns tonight with "Selina Kyle".
