'Godzilla' Size Comparison Chart and New Photos

Take a look at how the new 'Godzilla' stacks up to his former counterparts, along with scenes from the film's epic finale.

It's been a good week for Godzilla fans, as Empire Magazine shares more from its upcoming issue with several new photos taken directly from the film's finale, which finds Ford (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and his paratroop team facing off against the giant lizard at street level. This comes along with a size comparison chart that takes us through the Toho Showa era (1954-1975), the Millennium Series (1999-2004), Sony's 'Zilla' (1998), the Hanna-Barbera cartoon, the Heizei era (1984-1995), and finally the big daddy of them all, Warner Bros. and Legendary's reboot (2014).

    lol i think this chart is wrong, i looked it up and it said 98 godzilla is 300 ft tall which is about 91 meters, so the american godzilla is pretty big, either the information i read is wrong or this chart was made by someone who really dislikes the american godzilla.

    @cheetoboy But it's no fun when the monster is TOO big. It works best when they can interact with the environment with them, not just a few steps and the whole city is flattened.
