Entertainment Weekly released their 2015 preview issue today, which offers first looks at upcoming movies and TV shows debuting in the new year. Part of this preview offers our first look at the new costume worn by Maisie Williams' Arya Stark in Season 5 of Game of Thrones, which is vastly different than her boyish costume from the first four seasons. While we don't get a look at the actress in this costume, the illustration below shows Arya wearing a feminine dress. Here's what Maisie Williams had to say about the changing wardrobe, revealing that her new look even fooled longtime crew members who have worked with her for years, teasing that her clothes will be a plot point in the show.

"I love Arya's new look. It's very neutral, very plain, but clean! I have clean hair that actually moves. I had my hair braided up to these big buns and bits of jewelry and a jumper thing with a long skirt, and I came onto the set and nobody recognized me. That was such a release-it was like no acting required. This feels totally like a next chapter."

The costume change was made so Arya can maintain her anonymity in her new home across the sea, in the free city of Braavos. Costume designer Michele Clapton also added that the costume reflects the change in her environment, and show her as more than just a girl in disguise. She added that, even when the disguise wasn't necessary in earlier seasons, it didn't make sense to change it, since she was still on the road. Now with a new home, Arya will surely start coming into her own in Season 5. Take a look at the image below, and stay tuned for more photos and details regarding Season 5 of Game of Thrones.
