While Universal takes its sweet time rejuvenating their classic monsters for a new shared universe series of movies, director Damien Leone is beating them to the punch with his own take on two iconic ghouls. That's right, one very scary lab creation will soon face off against a member of the living dead in Frankenstein Vs. the Mummy! And it might just be better than what we'll eventually get from the impending big budget blockbuster.

Dr. Victor Frankenstein and Egyptologist Naihla Khalil are both professors at a leading medical university. Victor's latest grisly "experiment" is the re-animated corpse of a sadistic madman and Naihla's most recent find is the cursed mummy of an evil pharaoh. When the two monsters face-off in an epic showdown, no one is safe from the slaughter. Can the murderous rampage be stopped and the carnage contained before it's too late?

RLJE/Image Entertainment have released the first poster and trailer Frankenstein Vs. the Mummy. It is heading to DVD and Digital Download on February 10, just in time for Valentine's Day. Give the gift of freight as these two heavyweights go at it in what just might be the biggest, baddest brawl of 2015. Batman and Superman have nothing on Frankenstein and the Mummy!
