Four ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Posters, Trailer Debuts December 18

Meet four of the fighting apes from this upcoming sequel. The trailer will launch at 6:00 am (PST) this coming Wednesday.

This morning, Matt Reeves announced via his personal Twitter that 20th Century Fox will be debuting the first trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes this coming Wednesday, December 18th, at 9 am EST (6 am PST). Shortly after, the studio released four character posters featuring Ceaser and three members of his ape army who will be introduced in the upcoming first look footage.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was released July 11th, 2014 and stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kirk Acevedo, Nick Thurston. The film is directed by Matt Reeves.
