what's with the name (seed of chuky) when it should be called (son of chucky)
not (seed of chucky) after all the baby is chucky's son not his seed, look back
in the old movie days, when we have the old classic frankenstein movies, which
lead's to (bride of frankenstein) and (son of frankenstein) when i first saw the
surprise ending of (bride of chucky) at the theaters that when the 5th one comes
out, i was for sure that the name would be (son of chucky) i never thought
that the move would be seed instead of son, can anyone tell me why this is such
a good idea to call the title seed instead of son ? :cry:

When i heard the news of the new Chucky and saw the new preview i thought, "This is gonna be REALLY stupid." I mean come on. When will the directors learn that the series SUCKS and doesn't need to be in film anymore?

I also saw the teaser I thought it was the best.

i hate to say it but the dude is right, the chucky movies
is the best thing that ever happen, i grew up with the
first three films, then years later when 98 came,
that's when the fourth one (bride of chucky) came out
and i think it's cool that there's going to be a 5th one
but i think they still should of call it (son of chucky) but
ok find, if it's seed, it's seed..... :offair:

I agree, this film series should have been killed off years ago. However, Bride Of Chucky was better than parts 2 or 3, you just knew though at the end of Bride Of Chucky there was gonna be a follow-up. Especially if you listened to the audio commentary on the DVD. Will this be where the "SEED" finally takes care of Chucky? I guess we will all soon learn! :roll: [/spoiler][/b]

I agree that the first two were good... the third was pushing it a bit, and I wasn't a huge fan of it. I didn't like Bride of Chucky much, but I suppose it could have been worse. As for the new one, it's the type of movie I'll rent for kicks in a couple of years, but I can't see really liking it. Plus, the first two, and even the third, were actually somewhat creepy and took advantage of some people's phobias of dolls, which is what made them good. The new ones aren't nearly as creepy, because they've removed the old ingredients for a scary movie, and added more flashy violence and sex... which, don't get me wrong, isn't always bad, but I just don't think it goes with the spirit of the originals. I think it's too bad that they've ruined a good series of movies with that sort of thing :(

that was kind of gay if you ask me, the story is dumb Jennifer plays her self thats dumb she can't just play the same person, anyway I'll see the film because it's a Child's Play movie.

I was never a fan of Chucky, so I'm not interested. Fuck, I'll say it, the whole franchise was pretty much crap. Sorry guys, but even if you like it, you have to admit how stupid it really is.

The rest of them werent as good becuase Wes Craven didn't write or direct them but I still enjoyed them (I havent seen Final Nightmare which is directed by Wes as well).

The first and the last are the best by far in my opinion. The middle ones were just ok. I like the third one it was cool.

i saw the advanced screening in ny last night and was impressed with mancini's ability to keep this series alive and fresh. chucky has grown up over the years - hell, he's a dad now. but you obviously can't take this movie too seriously either - it's for fun and laughs! go check it out this weekend - it's the best the series has to offer.

P.S. I guess we got lucky in a way. Only one shitty halloween release. there's usually 2 or 3.

I know what you mean. The same goes for Jason and Freddy movies, they do nothing for me. It's like ooh a guy got his head cut off and in that moment you go eww but it doesn't last. There is no lasting appeal. Not like when we were kids.

Hey, most of the Leprechaun movies sucked, but Lep Back 2 Da Hood was surprisingly good.
I enjoyed the film while I was letdown. Found it funny, and entertaining but it was missing something, though the ending was wicked. Bride Of Chucky was better. I'll be buying this.

Bride of Chucky made me glad I don't have testicles, because if I did, I would have ripped them off in frustration. Seed of Chucky is like an old boyfriend... it's one of those things that I wouldn't go near without a blood alcohol content less than 3. I have better things to do with my time... like counting pennies and yelling at small children.

Before I saw this movie I was really exciting because I just loved all of the Chucky movies... I went and saw it only to discover that it was a waste total and complete of my time. It is up to you if you want to see it, but I personally did not like it. Everyone has their own opinions.

I heard it was really funny and based on that fact alone I might watch it. Other than that it's received terrible reviews. So if I'm up for something funny with little expectations I'll check it out.

Sorry to spoil it but there is a Chucky number 6. I love Chucky! I am COMPLETELY obsessed any conversation of mine could turn into one about Chucky! My favorite is the Seed Of Chucky My favorite part in that movie is when the're in the attic or wherever and Glen/Glenda says "But violence is bad, isn't it? they said so on tv" and Chucky says "Not Violence... Vi-O-lins, Violins are bad!" That part TOTALLY made me LOL and ROFL THAT JUST TOTALLY CRACKED ME UP!!!!!!!!!!
