Anacondas: Hunt for the Blood Orchid

I know the first one was dumb but I loved it. Saw the preview for this at Spiderman 2 - looks alot like the first one with a different cast.

It looks like it was made for TV. I am really suprised it is being released to theaters.

I also saw this film being advertised and I think i actually groaned loud enough to make the ushers wince.

I actually like a lot of cheesy movies. Most Cheesy movies however have small budgets. Anaconda was awful and it cost a lot, how does anyone have the money to waste on another one. That money could be used to make a few small budget films with actual integrity. I hope this movie fails miserably, and it will.

It's a real shame. Hollywood seems to be in dire need of original films to be made. Oy, there used to be good old times when Hollywood was bursting with talent from the likes of Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Stanley Kubric, John Hughes, and others. Those were times where you knew you had a chance of seeing a good movie at least once a weak, because you knew there was always something, usually more than one, that was very-much worth your time. Hell, even porno movies had plots back then. Those were the days. Those days are over. We at the movie-going community are always only hoping that something great will come along every once in a while. And it has. But it's just not the same. :cry:
