I just caught wind of this new "horror" film that will be directed by William Friedkin, which is ironic, since he also made the Exorcist which as been a bit of a hot topic on the boards here, but moving on. The Book of Skulls, as I've read it will be titled, is about four college students in the 70's that find a manuscript that promises a way to gain immortality. The trick is that only two of the four can have it, and to gain it, two of them must commit suicide. Sounds cool to me, especially with the man who bought us greats like The French Connection and To Live and Die in L.A. at the helm. What do you guys think?

It sounds interesting.

I'd like to see how they execute it. It's a one-note premise really, and it would be interesting to know how they're making it into a film.
