This "Trailers" section could use some action so how about this: You watch a movie trailer, new or old, then just post here and tell everyone what you thought of it.

Here's some I watched recently. Most of them were in front of the showing of Transformers.

Sunshine Ext. Trailer – This trailer makes the film look really great which in turn now make me interested in seeing it, but on the downside, after watching it I feel like Ive seen the entire movie and now have no reason to watch the actual film. So for that, terrible trailer. 4/10

Bourne Ultamatium (theatrical) – Im definitely down for more of Damon kicking ass. 8/10

Hot Rod (theatrical) – I don’t want to jinx it, but Im just going to say it: Funniest movie of 07. Knocked Up was very funny, but this just looks even better and based on past work of Samberg, I cant help but be excited. 8/10

Superbad – I didn’t think this would be funny from the first trailer, but this new one has turned me onto the film now. It looks like another very good comedy. 7/10

Cloverfield (JJ Abrams secret film) – WOW! Love the documentary look and the effects look spectacular. It’s a great teaser. Possibly the BEST teaser I’ve seen ever. 10/10

Rush Hour 3 (theatrical) – Im a fan of the first two, but Im not jumping out of my seat for another one and I wont be flocking to the theater to see it. Still, the trailer has it moments and overall the film looks like it will be somewhat good. 6/10

Really? I thought it looked retarded and not funny at all.

One trailer that I enjoyed was Mr. Magorium's Magic Emporium. Natalie Portman, Dustin Hoffman, and Jason Bateman - you can't get a better cast! I got a Willy Wonka vibe from it, only less creepy.

One trailer that makes me want to NOT see the movie is Water Horse of the Deep...I don't care if the story ends up being good, the terrible CGI was enough to put me off.

And The Kingdom was the trailer that got me most excited. It looks smart and intense; my only complaint is that Jenn Garner doesn't even have a line in it!

Before Transformers i saw...

Hot Rod - It looks somewhat funny but, I'm not sure I'll be hitting the theaters to check it out. 6/10.

I Am Legend - WOW. I know it's only a teaser but, it seriously sent chills down my spine when it said "The Last Man On Earth... (Spooky silence) ...Is Not Alone" Damn that got me excited. Will Smith has become one of my top 5 actors. I can't wait. 10/10

Rush Hour 3 - I loved the first two and I have no doubt that I'll love this one too. But, I hope this is the final one. They've out just about out done these characters and I don't think Brett Ratner has the brain power. Man, I can't stand that guy. 7/10.

"Cloverfield / Slusho"(JJ. Abrams' 1-18-08 thriller) - Whether or not I like the idea of using nothing but video cameras to film this movie, this teaser got me pumped. I am a hug fan of Abrams. I love LOST and I loved M:i-III. I loved the way they introduced the terror by having it interrupt a guy's going away party. Fantastic work. 10/10.

The Bourne Ultimatum - I'm getting tired of these movies. The first one was brilliant, the second one was not so. I hate when movies with this much going on don't use a single still-camera shot. I get so frustrated watching all the blurrs go by wondering whats happening. I just think they've overdone the character and I hope this is the last one. Don't get me wrong. The trailer was atleast good enough to make we wanna see it on the big screen so, they did their job, eh?

Really? I thought Greengrass did a masterful job with Supremacy, though the plot did wear thin at some places. I have heard he is reducing some of the shaky cam, which was the only beef I really had with the second of this wonderful series.

And The Kingdom was the trailer that got me most excited. It looks smart and intense; my only complaint is that Jenn Garner doesn't even have a line in it!

I agree wholeheartedly! I was watching the trailer with my full attention, and ecstatic that I saw Garner, but she didn't have a line :/

Another movie that looks like it will be a winner is Vantage Point. I'm looking forward to seeing Whitaker, Fox, and co. do their thing!

Vantage Point - Looks good. Lot of shit going on, hopefully it wont get too convoluted. 7/10

Death Sentence - I love Wan's style], Bacon looks cool at the end, and revenge movies kick ass, but I just hope the story is original. 6/10

No End in Sight - Keep in eye on this one guys. 8/10
http://www.apple.com/trailers/magnolia/noendinsight/trailer/

No Country For Old Men - Looks damn good. This is a Coen bros movie though its based on a novel. The Coens dont always hit a homerun with me, but since its not one of their originals writings, Im very excited. 8/10

December Boys - It doesnt look bad, but it just doesnt interest me. 4/10

King of Kong - Looks like a fun documentary to watch. 7/10

Get Smart teaser - Looks like it could be good, but I have a feeling it wont be simply because of the track record of these kinds of Hollywood movies. I really hope they prove me wrong though. 6/10

I'm really looking forward to Get Smart. Steve Carell is almost always hilarious, and the whole Get Smart concept has always been great (that's why Inspecter Gadget was so popular). I used to watch the tv show as a kid, and I even enjoyed the original movie Maxwell Smart and the Nude Bomb. As long as the writing employs the same comedic style as the show (and the trailer seems to indicate yes) I think it may work. Plus the Rock is in it.

yea i saw the trailer for Get Smart not too long ago and it looked really good.

award for most elusive trailer i saw this weekend goes to Dark Knight. I can't wait to see that.

another trailer i saw recently that looked really interesting was Penelope. Starring Christina Ricci and also Reese Witherspoon. I'd give that a 8/10.

And the trailer for the lamest looking sophomoric comedy this year goes to "good luck chuck". As if Dane Cook isn't unwatchable and unfunny enough as it is, the premise of the movie is that he can't sleep with a girl because she'll end up marrying someone else if he does. Who comes up with this tripe?

Be Kind Rewind - I loved the idea for this movie when I first heard it and I knew seeing Black re-create movies would be awesome and this trailer definitely shows that to be true.

8/10

Dan in Real Life - I'll see just about anything with Carrell and its great to see that this looks like its going to be a really good movie.

Only today i have watch 11 trailers ( right here on movieweb) here are 3 that i hadnt eard of and really got caught by suprise and i give those trailers a 5/5

Trick or treat : well this looks like it will be a pretty intersting horror flick , i really am a big fan of anthology horror films , and this looks like it will be the best since Three extremes

Be kind rewind : well a movie about 2 guys who wrecks all the films in a video store and decide to reshoot them with a home cam so that their best client ( a senile old bag) wont see the difference , could turn into the worst film of the decade, But the trailer really looks fantastic and Jack Black teaming up with Mos Def is a reall treat, check it out i'm sure this will become a cult classic, oh and to top it off it's directed by Michel Gondry

We own the night : wow i thought there was just American gangster that would be druglord/cop film to look out for , How i was wrong this film satrring Mark Walberg and Joaquim Poenix looks has bad ass has american gangster check it out

Oh and the styraight to dvd film called Played , looks damn good, it's a b-movie kinda samely shot has El-mariachi but with a lot of big stars like Gabriel Byrn , Val Kilmer ect.... check it out looks pretty decent

I thought the trailer looked really good, pretty much in line with the last one which was a good story that didn't take itself too seriously. Especially excited about the return of Justin Bartha, my favorite character from the first one.

Sleuth - I'm really surprised that I've heard nothing of this film (the original I mean). Its interesting that Law is not only doing another Caine remake, but he's actually going up against him in one. I'm very intrigued by this trailer, so much so that I just got a copy of the original to watch. Im looking forward to watching both.

Juno - A definite must-see film.

Funny Games - Hard to see this premise working for a full-length film, but it could be good.

Cleaner - depends on the reviews whether or not I check this out.

The Ten Commandments - 1/10 As if they needed to remake this movie in the first place (when the Prince of Egypt and the original Ten Commandments are both great films that cover the bases of the story), the fact that they're doing it as a cgi-animated film that looks like it was made on a videogame engine from the original PlayStation is inexcusable.

Digging on Iron Man and Southland Tales especially because of the tunes used

Also excited about a trailer for the new Australian film GABRIEL which has the archangel kicking ass through Purgatory. Has been described as a cross between Underworld and The Crow.
Will be checking it out to see if it lives up to the hype

I think this website has the trailer if anyone is interested................

Just out: Hellboy II : The Golden Army trailer. If you are a fan of the first movie you may rate it high, but stand alone, it really wasn't that great I'm sorry to say. It just didn't pop for me and I'm a huge fan of the first. 6/10. I'm still excited about the movie though.

This is a trailer for a flick that I'm pretty interested in, Baby Mama. It's Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Tina Fey isn't able to have a baby and chooses Poehler as the surrogate

I think they have such awesome chemistry together on SNL that it'd be a terrible idea to pass up this movie. This is the perfect chance for them to cultivate that chemistry and show that they can be comedic actresses, not just comedic writers.

Okay, Quantam of Solace is tied with The Dark Knight as the best trailer of the year, IMO. At the very least, it's the most effective at creating anticipation. Having Bond go rogue might be the best idea they could have done with the Casino Royale follow-up. Could this be the best Bond movie ever? It's certainly possible.

The Bourne Ultimatum etc. I HATE those too fast action sequence car chases. They might actually be good, but since they went soo fast they're probably covering up some 'slop work' under the veil of 'cool'.
