Honestly it looks like an extremely stupid double feature. I'd like to see Tarantino go back to smaller films, i think that's what made him famous in the first place.

<shrugs shoulders> I've probably spent my money unwisely before with flicks that I have had larger expectations with. Knowing what Tarantino has done in the past with movies, I am really looking forward with this double feature of his.

The only director nowadays that has let me down would be M. Night Shyamalan--especially with that last movie he made. http://www.degroat.net/pix/thumbsdown.gif

I think what made him famous was the fact that he knew how to make good movies. Just so happens to be that his first films were small only because of money.

When I first heard about this double feature, I got pretty excited..

However on the evidence of this trailer.. the film PLANET TERROR, looked pretty awful.. a girl shooting a machine gun from her stump?

DEATH PROOF, on the other hand looked good.. still never judge a book by it's cover!

What do you expect Tarantino is directing Death Proof, and Rodriguez is directing Planet Terror. If I was betting man Planet Terror will be the weaker of the two movies. And Stokie that chick with a gun for her leg looks badass.

Your probably right there Bolger, 20 yrs ago, a bird with a machine gun as a leg would have been totally badass, as you put it... as Ive got older, as Danny Glover would say...

Haha maybe. Although it looks cool to me it might not be the movie to see with my Dad. Although what Tarantino films are?

On another note I was surprised to see Bruce Willis. Anyone know he was gonna be in it? IMDB has nothing about it, and it looks as though he's in both movies.
