I just read about Ashlee in us weekly. Those guys at the football game were total jerks. She said she wishes the critics will pick on someone else and i agree. Do you think MTV is gonna play the boo on her show? It's on after Newlyweds again right? I hope they let her tell her side!

After watching the video of the "performance", I booed.
It was horrible. She deserved to get booed.

Anyways, the only reason the critics pick on Ashlee is because she is so easy to criticise - in other words, she sucks. I honestly didn't mind Pieces Of Me - it was tolerable but preferrably avoided. But her performance at the Orange Bowl and on SNL has proven to me that her songs are digitally enhanced and that she really has no talent at all.

That's the whole reason I HATE most/all pop music. It's so digitized and enhanced that there's virtually no talent or effort put into it. And most of it is so cliched and done over that it makes me want to hurl just listening to yet ANOTHER song about how the chick wishes she had a boyfriend or is struggling to get over getting dumped or wants to be more than she could possibly be, which is an oversexed teenager who thrives on the media for attention. No other genre would ever stoop so low to have an artist create a TV show just so that they could get more attention than they deserve (besides "rapper" Lil Romeo, but he sucks and so does Nickalodean).

The rock scene is all there - bubbling underneath the surface. We just need it to break through into the mainstream, on a more regular basis.

Then again, it may be better if it doesn't become mainstream - if it does, it most certainly will be butchered by record executives.

But if I may be so bold as to make a statement about Ashlee, she didn't sound so awful at the Teen Choice Awar... oh wait, she was lip-synching.

Ashlee's a moron. There, I said it. Jessica Simpson might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but it's mostly just that she happens to not know stuff (like the whole buffalo wings thing? she's probably not the first person to do that). Ashlee, on the other hand, is just dumb.

I certainly don't feel bad for her. I'm just pointing out that it seems to be a pattern with her lately.
