I would really love to know the name of this movie, i'm afraid it's a vague description but this is the horror forum so if anyone will know it should be u guy's.
There is a bloke (i think) and he could be a reporter he is looking for a author of horror book's, he can't find him, so he collect's all the book's by this author and when he put's them all together they move around(on there own) to make a map. There is a town on this map but he can't find it on any normal map, he follow's the map and suddenly there is the town. There is a big castle,fortress type building up on a hill and i think it change's shape or the door does, he can't leave the town every time he try's he can't and near the end of the film all the town's people are after him.
I think this is a late 80's early 90's film. I thought it was stephen king or dean koontz because it's done in there kind of style but it's not them. So if anyone can help, like i said i will love u forever.
