OK, so I'm a big fan of box sets. I love the Nightmare on Elm Street one and and definitely looking forward to picking up the Friday the 13th set. Anybody have any inside info on any other horror series getting this treatment?

Here's a few that I would like to see, and if there's any rumors floating around about these, post em!

-THE DEAD TRILOGY! Fuck the fancy schmancy Dawn of the Dead set, put out all three with lots of goodies. Or hell make it four and throw in the colorized Night.
-Evil Dead Trilogy. Honestly, why doesn't this exist yet? It would sell like crazy.
-Hannibal Lecter Trilogy. Same as above... Lecter is one of my all time favorite movie villains and I keep holding off on buying all three on DVD because surely they'll put out a nice box set soon.
-Hellraiser. Easily one of my favorite franchises and I don't own any of them on DVD (For Shame!) So make it easy on my wallet and let me get em all at once!
-Halloween. Another easy money maker I would think.

Those are the ones I would most like to see Hell I'd even buy a Child's Play box set!

Any comments or info?

The problem with these set's is that true fans of the films own a few from each series already. If you don't by now you probably wouldn't spend a hundred bucks on the sets. The same box sets for A Nightmare on Elm Street have been in my store for like two years, but we have sold individual copies.

Box sets to check out:

Mirror, Mirror
Twilight Zone
Hithcocks sets
Night Gallery
Dark Shadows

I agree that they should create 'Evil Dead' and 'Dead' trilogies. But KoN said, most people already have copies of those movies, including me.
I suggest this box set if you like Violent- Low Budget gore flicks

Its Emmerson's Red's Breakfast Series(1,2,3)
Not very mainstream until Troma released the second one on their "best-of" set.

Yeah point taken, but since when are these companies above trying to milk what they have for all it's worth, right? Personally, I was late joining the world of DVD, so I'm still in the process of upgrading all my VHS. The reason I haven't bought most of these movies is because I'm waiting for pretty sets!

But I'm really starting to crave some digital Evil Dead so I might just have to cave in and buy them individually.

It will be a while before we see that set. Buy them as individuals, they cost like ten bucks. The DVD thing? Come on man it has been the standard for like 5 years now. "Blame Canada."
