  • I wasn't sure I'd get to this movie while it was still in the theaters but my schedule had me at IMAX yesterday to see it. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. It is of course an animated, PG rated, "kids" movie but it turned out to be so much more. It's a comedy and an action adventure flick that most adults would enjoy. It's about a Panda named Po who works in his father's noodle shop, in the Valley of Peace, which lies in the shadow of the Jade Temple where the Furious Five ( Tigress, Monkey, Viper, Crane and Mantis) train under the tutelage of kung fu master Shifu. Po longs to be a kung fu warrior and on the day of the choosing ceremony for Dragon Warrior, Oogway, the Temple's Grand Master, chooses Po. No one is more shocked than Po but he takes his place with the not so happy Furious Five and proceeds to train for a showdown with the snow leopard Tai Lung. As expected things don't go smoothly for either the rotund, slacker Panda or the diminutive Shifu. There are plenty of laughs along the way with a lot of action too. Some younger kids may find the violence too intense but for almost everyone else it's a great film. I give it a 10/10 because I liked it that much.

  • Its amazing how most kid's movies today, are being watched by adults. I have noticed that there are `hidden` adult jokes in most of them.
Kung Fu Panda was amazing! Im looking forward to the sequal.

  • Me too spadge. If the producers can draw a bigger audience by playing to all age groups, making it an enjoyable movie to watch for everyone, it's a win - win situation. In my top five for 2008.

  • I think it's a good movie, very interesting. But just a little disappointment.

The story is about kungfu and old china, but I think character of the panda is american style. It seems a little strange...

Well, I still like the movie, suitable for children and adult..

  • I really loved this movie! Probably my favorite Dreamworks CG animation. Of course I really like martial arts movies so that's a big factor for me. Looks great on Blu-Ray too.

  • Kung Fu Panda was one of the most notable movies of 2008. This story is revolves around a boy who is laziest boy and working as a waiter in his father's noodle restaurant . I like this movie very much....
