I forgot about Spawn. I loved that movie. He was badass and the clown character was too funny. I didn't read the comics so I can't compare but I thought it was a cool flick.

Van Helsing was some part of the popular myth and was made into a comic which did not meet any great success in the 50-60's I think...the rise of Superman and Batman as comic characters killed van Helsing...

Why does everybody like Hellboy so much? The movie was average imo.. Its funny and entertaining action-wise, but nothing more.. I guess its because I don't like the characters very much..
