  • What the hell is everybody sleeping. 4 days without a post. I realize that Brian still has the raging hard-on form Comic-con. Kerouac is too busy reviewing DVD's that have been out forever, and Bobby... whats up with that whole Robotech thing?

We seem to cover the best and worst of everyting so lets have it. I want the worst perfomances of all time. I'm not talking about Kerouac on his wedding night. I've heard about your bachelor party.

  • Dicaprio is a good actor. The roles he picks are crap. With the exception of The Beach what has he done recently that is worthwhile. Nothing. That Woody Allen flick please.

  • Ut-oh... here we go!!

Doof - How can you say the roles Leo picks are crap??
He hasn't done anything in a while because he actually
THINKS about the films he's gonna do. He doesn't just go for the paycheck.

His role in Celebrity was just a cameo, and it wasn't his fault that Woody Allen is nothing more than a washed-up HACK now. He recycles the same damn story over and over...

Now Leo has a slate of good films coming up with Gangs of New York and Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can.

Sam - Obviously you've never watched Marvin's Room, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, or Basketball Diaries. Anyone who's seen those films understands the caliber of actor Leo is.

  • Kerouac - You keep forgetting about The Man in the Iron Mask. I am eagerly anticipating GoNY and CMIYC, I want to see what he can do. I like him as an actor. Just remember he's no D.B. Sweeny

I knew I would get Kerouac going, with a recycled topic nonetheless!!! Lol!

Hey, I did like "The Man in the Iron Mask" and "Titanic". His presence doesn't ruin any movie, meaning that both "Gangs of New York" and "Catch me if you can" (Spielberg! Hanks!) have a chance of being good.

  • Sam - You do know how to puch my buttons, don't you sweetheart? Ugh... you pick his 2 WORST films to like... should've known...
Now, I'm a Spielberg fan, but why on Earth do you have such a hard-on for the guy? He's certainly been slipping as of late.

Doofy - I didn't forget Man in the Iron Mask, I was trying to deftly avoid bringing it up!
That's just a bad movie all around....

heheheh....I love how Kerouac is so bitter these days.

MAN IN THE IRON MASK was an entertianing plane movie for me, but I truly do love TITANIC. Sorry boys....it had it all, and whne the ship went down, that was some of the greatest movie making of all time.

    Kerouac...birng on the hate. 8)

  • Now, now... you're jumping to conclusions.
I have nothing against Titanic. In fact, I think it's a great piece of filmmaking. Titanic was a victim of its own popularity. It didn't have the cool appeal that most fan-boys look for. (meaning, it was popular, so they can't say it's cool because they're the only geeks to like it)

But you watch.. the pendulum is going to swing on Titanic. Now that everyone HATES it, it'll be cool to like it again... Pretty soon the fan-boys will be going to Comic-Con with Titanic t-shirts and sh*t.

Personally, I dug it from the get-go. It's another example of Cameron's ego on display ("look how BIG I can do things!!"), but it's a good flick. I just don't think it's one of Leo's BEST performances.

Well I want to say Reeves in Reloaded. He was passable in the original and I could even say he played an idiot quite wel, however as the voice of authority? :?

Sadly I have to go easy on the Reeves bashing because the worst performance ever has to be John Travolta in Battle Field Earth. Please don't anyone tell me they thought BFE was critically acclaimed because I assure you it wasn't. Worst performance ever, in the worst film ever. :P

  • Andie Macdowell in, well anything. Melanie Griffith in Milk Money (that movie is so bad I think it made me sterile) Winona Ryder in Dracula, Keanu Reeve in Dracula, Halle Berre in X-Men (I know she's hot and it wasn't her fault, they gaveher NOTHING to work with)
