what are the greatest Ensemble Casts ever? That's the movie with the most star-powered, talented group of actors filling every role no matter how small. Since skill as an actor is important to this catagory, and sometimes movies with big-name casts still flop, i want to restrain this top list to only critically deserving films. For example, just because Batman and Robin had a good cast, it would not qualify for this list because it was a bad film. So, without further Adeu...my list.

3. Apocalypse Now (1979): Martin Sheen, Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall, Laurence Fishburne, Dennis Hopper, Harrison Ford.

4. Saving Private Ryan (1998): Tom Hanks, Giovanni Ribisi, Tom Seizmore, Vin Diesel, Adam Goldberg, Matt Damon, Edward Burns, Jeremy Davies, Barry Pepper, Paul Giamatti, Ted Danson, Dennis Farina.
